Just finished...
A 6.5 yard HAND SEWN in a BEAUTIFUL 10 ounce, wool, Dress Stewart.
I know everyone hates posts like this that are sans photos, but... too bad. The kilt will be unveiled at Arizona Ren. Fest this Saturday. There will be many a photo taken at that venue, many of which should find their way into the homes of X-Markers everywhere.
Just a little preview-like info:
I went with the interior strap on the left. Almost looks like something is missing on that side.
I did cheat a little on the waist... I got a tiny bit lazy and simply rolled everything over. Still looks good to me. You guys can pass judgement on me when I post pics.
The straps are suede. Gray suede. As in the same gray suede I used to make the sporran seen in this thread. They go so very well with the Dress Stewart tartan, it's mind boggling.
Anyway... I promise photos when I return to Maine from Arizona. Until then... he he he.
