I broke down and bought a replacement camera today and to celebrate the kids and I went geocaching. For you Muggles (geocache-speak for the uninitiated) geocache is a modern treasure hunt using gps (global positioning satellite). It is a world wide hobby where someone leaves a little cache to be found and posts the coordinates online for others to find. Ussually there are small toys and such to trade so the cache is always renewing in items.

My son wouldn't let me go in public in a kilt before because he was afraid what others might say. I finally had to sit him down and explain that no-one would dare f*** with a man in a kilt and after spending the day with me out and about he's starting to accept it.

First stop was Future Shop to buy a camera. No comments from anyone and from what I saw no obvious glances! I'm wearing an FK in desert camo and no comments, nothing. Us Canadians are typically non-confrontational but I'd expect at least one raised eyebrow.
