It might be worthwhile making the point the the weaver by an large decides on how the edge of the fabric is woven, a clean selvedge- that doesn't need to be hemmed takes a little longer to set up. I'm sure that some weavers could produce a clean selvedge on any fabric if asked/or they thought it economic.
The important thing to bear in mind that there isn't a quality issue here, just slightly different finishes
