I posted this picture on 1st August, 2006
Here is the same view taken today. The red flowers in the background are a Polyanthus and the purple ones are wild Cranesbill, both of which are normally finished flowering by the end of May.
The Petunias ought to be a riot of colour by now but the lack of sunlight and heat has slowed their growth.
I had to zoom in closer to show these Nigellas, which would normally have been expected to provide colourful blooms by now.
Normally we turn off the heating around mid May but it is still on.
Global warming? - what a load of rubbish!
I hope by October/November to be able to show these Petunias and Nigellas in full bloom.
