Yeowtch! I was watching the Open yesterday and it was even colder than it was when we were there in June.
Hope your garden manages to catch up.

Here it is in the 90's and somedays hotter, and I sent Bub off to Scotland without even a jacket. He may return home in Scottish sweater! My daughter only lives a couple of miles from where she works and she said the weather has been so miserable in Edinburgh that she has only walked to work 4 times since March and this from a girl who walked almost 3 miles nearly everyday in Boston.
She can hardly wait to get a green card for her husband so they can come back to live in the States.

Well, we've had higher-than-normal temperatures around here for about two months now. And I sure wish it would rain.
Can we trade?

I could not believe that I was able to ride my Goldwing without getting wet on three consecutive days this past week, guess that was our Summer! Now even taking the car out is turning into an uncertain adventure!

I hope by October/November to be able to show these Petunias and Nigellas in full bloom.
Update as promised. The seasons in Scotland always tend to lag behind what the height of the sun would suggest, due to the maritime influence on our weather, but in recent years this seems to be becoming more and more noticeable with September and October being by far the best months for outdoor activities this year.
