Black Cororoy jacket conversion

Vests are nice, because, in my experience, they require no modification. But I've not seen a corduroy vest.

Thanks James, this is just a regular looking suit vest that came with the jacket I am going to have converted. I'm trying to raise a stink about it, so I can get a good idea about what I need to do.

Would the cut away for the sporran in the jacket show the vest if the jacket were closed?
