Newbie Hello
Hello all!
Looks like a great place here. I just stumbled across it in my search for information on kilts. I'm looking to purchase my first kilt in the next month or so, and wondering if I might get some advice.
I'm a Clark, and thought it would just be easier to get a kilt in the Clark Ancient tartan, than try to track down which of the many clans our particular line of the family was a sept of. However, I'm having a bit of difficulty finding an affordable, entry-level kilt, that's also available in the Clark tartan. I've found lots of nice entry level kilts, even in the ~$100 range which surprised me, but when I look for the Clark tartan, I end up back in the ~$350+ range, which is just out of my price range these days.
If anyone can point me in the direction of a kilt maker who offers an affordable (i.e. <~$150) entry-level kilt that I can get in the Clark Tartan, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the assistance, and once again, great looking site here.
Casey
