Save your money for sure. Like Barb says, the kiltmakers will help you....IF you deal directly with a kiltmaker instead of with a middle man.
I've also found it is cheaper to deal direct with a kiltmaker than it is to order through a middleman who forwards the order on to a nameless/faceless kiltmaker somewhere. No middleman profit to pay. Also, usually no errors or delays working directly with a kiltmaker.
Not sure why no one has mentioned USA Kilts or Utilikilts as options too. Check them out.
And use the search feature on this board and look up Mexico. There've been a number of posts about wearing kilts in Mexico and I don't think you're the first person from Mexico to be active on the board. Maybe a D.F. kilt night!?
