My name is Tom Leith. I visited Edinburgh for the first time in June. While there I ordered a kilt which fell into the realm of the Scottish Store black hole. I posted my first note yesterday concerning the demise of my order. I've heard of a kiltmaker here in Albuquerque, so may be making a visit soon for my first kilt. With a last name being somewhat obscure in this part of the world, it was a rush to visit Edinburgh/Leith and feel like I was coming home. Thanks for the notes and messages.

Thanks for the link and the welcome. After the trip, before I knew of the Scottish Store problem, I was looking for additional articles of clothing and found her website. At that time I wished I had done more research on makers before ordering, so this whole dilemma should work out for the best.
