Hello from New Mexico!
Hello everyone. I live in SE New Mexico, I know of only one other person that wears a kilt in the area, actually I only ordered my first last week, still awaiting its arival. Heritage wise I am about 1/2 Scottish and 1/2 Irish, so the kilts in my blood. Anyone in or near this area of New Mexico?
Best cheers all!!

Welcome aboard Mountainman! There are a couple of kilties on this board in your neck of the woods.
If you live in the SE part of the state, are you down near Hobbs or up near Portales?
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Well, I'm not in New Mexico, but I'd like to welcome you to Xmarks. I have been through your state, and it is a beautiful area.

Another welcome from Georgia.
You're gonna like this place, but you're gonna love you kilt even more. What did you order? From where? Why that tartan (if it's a tartan) and why? Inquring minds . . .
BTW, you do know that you are required to post picutres of any new kilt you receive, don't you? It's a rule.

That is pretty country! Folks do not think of alpine style mountain areas when they think of New Mexico! I have spent many hours hiking in that area. I was also down your way late last year and visited the Bosque del Apache... I sure do miss New Mexico and it's geopgraphic diversity.

Welcome to the neighborhood
I think you'll find several guys in the Southwest, but I'm not sure how close to you they will be. Welcome again!
