Kilted BASE jumper
Yesterday was Bridge Day, where they close the bridge crossing the New River Gorge and allow BASE jumping. I poked around a bit for a photo, but haven't found one yet. http://www.wvgazette.com/News/200910170345
For veteran Scottish jumper William Turner, Bridge Day was an opportunity to show pride in his home country by wearing a full kilt in his family's traditional tartan. He said he didn't know how his kilt would fare once he launched himself off the bridge. "We'll see what we see," he said with a wry smile.
