First Woman wins Gold Medal at Argyllshire Gathering
For the first time ever, a woman has won the Highland Society of London Gold Medal at the Argyllshire Gathering. Playing "Lament for Donald Duaghal MacKay", 18 year old Faye Henderson of Kirriemuir follows in the footsteps of her father, who won the Gold Medal in 1980, and her mother, who became the first woman allowed to compete at the major games many years ago. You can see Miss Henderson leading the band in the March to the Gathering:

Well done!
