Many times when someone gives a compliment I thank them and say keep that to yourself, I don't want to spoil my reputation. Just another tongue in cheek saying.

I say the same thing when someone tells me I'm "...a gentleman and a scholar."!

Anytime I get the "gentleman and a scholar" comment, I reply with "That's right, no matter WHAT my Mother says".

Only 3 years and a week before I can request permisson to enter. BTW, nice Black Stewart tartan. At first I thought it was National Fallen Firefighter Foundation Memorial as they do look similar.
