Very nice!! I like it! You nailed the original quite nicely! While mine was "inspired by the original," yours is a genuine reproduction. Love the turk's head knots. I need to learn how to braid those.

I noted on the photos of the original sporran that there is what appears to be a slot (button-hole??) in the suspension loop. That is not the first such slot I've seen in photos of original 18th c. sporrans. Does anybody know what they were used for, and how?

I am not sure what the hole in the belt loop is for so I did not include it on mine. I just thought that it may have been where someone had hung it on a nail for display and maybe it got ripped because of the jagged edges.
