Very nice reproduction!
I noted on the photos of the original sporran that there is what appears to be a slot (button-hole??) in the suspension loop. That is not the first such slot I've seen in photos of original 18th c. sporrans. Does anybody know what they were used for, and how?

Thank you all for the wonderful comments.
I am not sure what the hole in the belt loop is for so I did not include it on mine. I just thought that it may have been where someone had hung it on a nail for display and maybe it got ripped because of the jagged edges.
Hawk if you PM me your email I will send you some diagrams I use for button knots and turk's heads.

Here it is with a tape. Its about 14 to 15 inches tip to tail.
