Why certainly! Here is the group shot:

And here they are in action:

Bag type with Father's knot lid:

Basic Day sporran with dragon scale tooled lid:

And a Hunter type with basket weave lid:

Obviously, you'll have plenty of choices as time goes on!

Re: New Sporran from Wyvern Leatherworks

    Lovely sporrans!

I do not wish to side-track this thread (but I'm probably gonna!) The reason I bring this up here is because the pictures are located here!

I have been getting ready to contact Donnie about designing a sporran for me. I am looking to have one good, all-purpose sporran (I simply cannot afford a closet-full of them). Color will be black. I want to have my coat-of-arms tooled into the leather, but I cannot decide between a style like post #1 (with the COA on the main body of the sporran) or a pouch style like in post #6 (with the COA on the flap). I love the look of both these sporrans (and congratulations to the lucky owners!). For an all-purpose sporran, what does the rabble think: the more "military style" or would the "pouch style" be just as acceptible? I am talking anything from daywear on up (no white-tie events in my life, believe me!) I am one who believes qualityspeaks for itself, not how many bells, whistles, and decorative doo-dads a sporran may have. Thanks for any suggestions.

For one, all-purpose sporran I'd go with the style in post #1. To my eye, the pouch (as shown in post #6) is slightly more casual and not as versatile. Just one lady's opinion, mind you!

Thanks Alan. Yes indeedy, they are all creations of the talented Donnie Hailey. One of the many things I like about Wyvern is Donnie's willingness to accept design input from customers on just about any part of his creations. Tooling, color combinations, stitching styles, tassel styles, you name it, he'll work with you!

A real craftsman, a great business model, and a heck of a nice guy.

    Highly recommended!

    Cheers,
    Brooke

Re: New Sporran from Wyvern Leatherworks

I echo Brooke's remarks. Even with a "stock" Wyvern sporran because they are hand crafted there are variances from one to the next. I, too, for example own a Father's Knot sporran but knowing mine I can see differences with others. I like the uniqueness of Donnie's work. Of course my Irish harp sporran he made is treasured. Donnie, as has been said, is a real gentleman.
