Season II of The Waking Dead airs on Sunday. If you haven't seen this show (and I can't believe I'm going to say this about a zombie TV series, but) the writing is the best thing about it.

I've been in central Texas for about 4 years now, and have been plagued by zombies since my arrival. I find that watery, blended Scotch is a good deterrant, along with burnt Scotch oats, undercooked haggis and off key pipes. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a half crazed Ninja patrolling your yard, but that's what seems to work for me. Also, pepper spray.

I just get aggressive with the boom-stick. Although repellant might be the easierway to go. Less risk of getting infected. And less noisy.

YES! It's incredible. I cant wait.

College campuses around the USA have been playing this great game called Human Vs. Zombie and it's really intense and great fun. They've been doing it at my school, UW Madison, too and it's funny seeing it in action. Basically, everyone starts out with these orange bandanas that say "human" on them and then if you get tagged by the one person whose bandana says "Zombie" then you have to flip over yuor bandana so it says "zombie" too and start tagging humans. You have to try to save the person who is deemed "the spy" and save them before zombies get to them.

Its been going on for a few weeks now and the students that are still human are now carrying around nerf guns to shoot at zombies, and sleeping on campus. If yuo leave campus for over 24 hours, you are eliminated from the game, so yuo have to sleep on campus over the weekend and try to stay away from zombies in the night. It's really interesting. I wanted to play too but they ran out of bandanas. I guess it gets pretty intense where people get swarmed by the zombies and they have to run through campus buildings and stuff to hide. haha. LOL!!!! I just foudn this one at Madison!! I cant stop laughing. This is the huge Abe Lincoln statue outside of Bascom Hall and apparently one human student is clinging to Abe for dear life while zombies try to get him:

sorry to hijack this thread. I just think this game is way too awesome. I want to play it so bad.

(ps- I was lifted onto that statue by a handsome irishman last year ;) I wanted to get up there for a picture and he let me stand on his hands and lifted me up. *swoons* He had a lovely accent. Good times, Abe Lincoln, good times...)

aren't they fun!! I had a blast watching the game going on during passing time from classes. I'd see someone running and being chased by someone else and I had no idea what the bandanas were for. The only thing I didnt like was early in the morning I was walking into one of my buildings (Bascom Hall, actually. The one with the Abe statue) and one of the humans was being chased by a zombie adn he bolted in the door and pushed me up against a wall so he could get past me. I looked at him and yelled "what the hell!?" and he was like "omg im sorry! zombies were trying to get me!" hahaha.
