The way the author was going on and on in the second paragraph was depressing me! I'm glad the review turned around in the end. Luckily, I never had those negative connotations with Harris Tweed. I have, and have had since high school, a beautiful dark charcoal grey Harris Tweed blazer. It still fits, happily, and to this day is my go to favorite - it still looks new even after 29 years! Love it. This book may be going on my Christmas list as well :-)
