Why not take the worry out of sizing? Arm length vs. waist et.al.??
I had my jackets made to measure through Lochcarron. Did it through my kiltmaker rather than a middleman - though in this case she was sort of a middleman. Actually more an advisor and a contact to place the order for me to my specific measurements. Not sure if Lochcarron still does that though - heard they may not now. But check it out, and maybe House of Edgar.
Highly recommend you contact your kiltmaker, or find one, and have your jacket(s) custom sewn to your size rather than off the rack. Be VERY VERY careful when dealing with middlemen/jobbers on something they're just gonna get for you somewhere.
