    Superb kilt making as always, Barb! I can't wait to place my order!!!

    I love the style of the brass buckles too, can't wait to finally have a kilt with brass buckles and brown leather straps (weathered/repro tartans)!

    Wonderful!

    Is it just me, or does the tartan sett itself seem to somehow change depending on what colours are emphasised by the different pleating in the back? I mean in the one, the blue appears to come out, while it's the yellow in the second that seems to be highlighted.

    Curious. And perhaps something else that can be used to great effect when pleating to the stripe.
