What all can you tell us about that cape?
The cape has been in the family for many generations and is well-worn but not tattered. Very heavy melton wool. It bears the collar badges of the Prince Edward Island Highlanders, vintage World War I.

Jack, in the parlance of my home state "dude sick threads". And as you can not find many in the "bayfield highlands" who are kilted, a little OTT is fine.
I don my plaid and sheriffmuir for almost all black tie events in the northwoods. We can't use it for ice fish'n

Jack: One of the most splendid outfits I have seen on this blog! Fits you to a T. I can't tell whether the clothes make the man or the man makes the clothes. Also, a great setting for the picture. If I ever look half as good in a kilted outfit, I can die happy.
