I picked up a bottle of the quarter cask while up in Edinburgh in November Just under £40 not bad i thought, a stunning drink wonderful taste.
While at me local T**** the other day I just could not believe my eyes £25 so i picked up two

Yes and even last time I bought it in Edinburgh (Romanes and Patterson) it was only £29.99 so someone is trying to cash in if it cost you £40.00!

I discovered some quarter cask in our local store yesterday and picked up a couple of bottles. It was C$72, which was a few dollars less than the 10 years old. I look forward to trying it over the holidays.

I am sure you will really enjoy it - quarter cask is not subject to the same rules of aging as more of it is in contact with the wood.
It knocks the spots off the 10 yo, delightful as that is.
