G’day from Queensland, Australia
I have been wearing kilts now for about a year so I thought it would be good to join this forum and meet other kilt wearers. The more I wear the kilt the more I love it. I regularly wear the kilt as a casual garment and am trying to promote the kilt here in Australia as a acceptable modern day casual garment for men and another (and better) option than just pants or shorts. Most guys here in Australia think that the only garment they have to wear are pants or shorts, and don’t realise they have a more comfortable option in MUGs (in particular the kilt). I personally think most men just don’t realise that they CAN wear a kilt (if they are manly enough) and can wear it as a everyday garment and not just on auspicious occasions. I have been wearing sportkilts and utilikilts until now and have just been sized up for a 5 yard woollen kilt in Black isle which should be ready in about 3 weeks and hope to get some more soon. Until now, I have never had any problems with wearing a kilt casually in public, whether I am going shopping or hiking or wherever I dam well please!!! The truth is many people don’t notice, and when some do they accept it as a men’s garment, its masculine and if you are confident, it looks great!!!! I am blessed to have a wife that loves her man in a kilt, loves our Scottish heritage and who has been supportive when I spend a small fortune on kilts lol. I look forward to getting to know others here and hopefully even meet up with other kilted men in Queensland.

Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts, USA, North America. Lets see some photos of this animal in his natural habitat! I was kilted yesterday and the day before. Climbed our local mountain and a guy on a snowboard stopped and wanted a photo.
