Absolutely epic pics, Seago Sensei! The second one, especially. I'm glad your bonnet did it's job (fairly well, at least).
EDIT: Looking sharp, sir, as always.

You look great, I like your whole outfit! I've been to that area once - a beautiful place indeed, and the wind is absolutely unforgiving! Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I tend to stay away from bluff and cliff edges in the wind. The updrafts can make it real interesting... I'll bet the sporran really helps here. Great photo!
I"ve been atop Sandia Crest here in New Mexico and did'nt have enough hands to preserve my modesty. LOL - 60 mph updrafts are common and unexpected.

					Wonderful photo Dale.
Down the coast in Aptos it started out sunny and reasonably warm but when that wind picked up...brrrr!

(It was obviously a good day to be kilted at the beach

Brrrr is right, my face went numb in a couple of minutes. In addition to the wool bonnet, that beefy wool Scottish cardigan is being worn over a wool shirt. I was actually mostly fine except for my face.

Might be worth mentioning that this is a 6-yard knife pleat in 16-oz Lochcarron cloth.
