Irish Translation
Hey, everybody! Due to a few family issues, I haven't been on in a couple months, but I was wondering if you all could do me a favor? A life-long friend of mine and fellow fan of our Gaelic culture and heritage and I are soon reaching a milestone in our lives, and to commemorate it we are each going to get a tattoo as a nod to our shared heritage. He's going in a bit of a more serious direction, with a family crest, but as I'm the crazier (or dumber) of the two of us, I'm getting a more lively one. So my question is this; can those of you who have knowledge of Irish Gaelic please translate this phrase:
Live to fight, fight to live
I would be very greatful!
Ta, MarvelRedneck

Re: Irish Translation
Its a difficult one to translate exactly as you have no subjects and tenses in it as they can give very different translation based on the grammar of the tenses
here's the closest:
Saol ag troid, troid le maireachtáil
