    Re: Cthulhu Kilts

    Here go.

Mine pleated to the green strip -

Amy's pleated to the sett -

Plus the passports and flashes -

    The scraps -

The extra yard for the waist coat -

The extra folded over for single width -

If I hadn't been so fat there might have been enough for a second kilt. There is almost a yard and a half plus almost an additional yard in the cut area.

We'll try them on tonight and some more pics later.

    Jim

    Looking awesome, Jim!

Amy's is super-fancy, pleated to the sett like that; fantastic.

Big kudos to Barb, and kudos to Amy for opting for box pleats to sett. Insane! :cthulhusmiley:

    Whoo-hoo!

Cool looks for both of you. The pleating to the bright green stripe is a first, and very striking, and as Ryan noted, WTG Amy for choosing box pleat to the sett!

I meant to mention that, as well- the light green stripe gives a really great effect, like Scott said. I think we've now sen most or all of the pleating possibilities, aye?

    Re: Cthulhu Kilts

When Drac mentioned that he wanted his kilt pleated to the green stripe, I have to confess that I thought it might be too much. But no! It's a fab way to pleat this tartan.

I have got it. Box pleated to the kilt. Barb did a great job. I'll have pictures soon.

Is that some kind of cryptic refrence that I'm missing?

No, it's my tired, caffeine deprived brain trying to say box pleated to the sett.

Keep telling yourself that, good sir. In reality, we all know that it's simply the Madness taking hold; don't worry- at the least, you're very much not alone. :cthulhusmiley:
