I have never seen this and I have been wearing sporrans a long time. I currently have 5, (or is that 6?) and a great many have bitten the dust before, all made in Scotland.
I have worn coo leather, pigskin, sealskin, goathair, alleged ponyskin, and long horsehair sporrans over a period of over 30 years. However, I have not ever seen a lined sporran.
Neither have I. I never cease to learn from this website.
