I have a Facebook account, but I almost never use it. I forgot about the "Like" feature - pretty convenient, if one doesn't want to comment. Thanks for reminding me.

I cannot understand why one would be concerned about the number of times they post, though displaying that statistic gives others a first-order idea about how active a person is on the forum, through duration or activity.
