That's a good idea until you find that most of their posts are just *** or Well said! Makes me ignore them, kinda like the boy who cried wolf too often. Shame really, but if someone can't post anything meaningful for 90% of their posts, the remaining 10% is not worth bothering about even if it turns out to be something interesting.

A rather interesting approach. I post ***'s and will say, "Well said," or something to that effect at times, and why not? I also contribute to the forum by responding to various threads and posts in a much more meaningful way, as well as starting new threads. I do not see anything wrong with "liking" someone's comment, or agreeing with them and sometimes not saying anything else. Does every response have to be a thesis paper? I don't think so and certainly do not expect others to respond in such a manner. We are all engaged in conversation on here, are we not?
