TR, This was cancelled a couple years back due to budget cuts. I played there a few times with a pipeband, and it was a great event, so it was too bad. It has nothing to due with the Celtic Classic in Bethlehem, PA

The last year it was held was 2010

Thank you Castledangerous for the update, I stand corrected. I had done a couple of searches and they kept coming back to celticfest.org so I thought it was the same event.

Otherwise, the information posted is correct and hopefully is of some interest to the OP.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. Very interesting thank you ! We have attended the Celtic Fling the last 2 summers & plan on going to Bethlehem for the Celtic Classic this year . The other events you speak of I had no idea about .

Thank you Castledangerous , now I'll stop frustrating myself searching for it .

Nuts, bad timing for me on this weekend's Celtic Fling.
One of these years I'll get there.

The Green Lane was my favorite - kids loved the Nessie in the lake.
