The venue's main purpose is the Highland Games. I'm not sure what else they use it for but this is the biggest event in the annual calendar for the town and there is a huge sign advertising the games year round. There were two clan buildings and it was set up more like a trade show with tables. There are only a few tents just adjacent to the clan buildings.
There is a track and you could certainly play soccer there. Perhaps it's big enough for a game of Canadian football too. I'm really not sure. I've never been there when the games weren't on.
