    Gentlemen,

Do you understand that this is the dedicated forum section of our advertiser MacGregor & McDuff?
Do you also understand that Mikilt was asking a direct question of that advertiser?

As it is currently 2am in Scotland may we give our advertiser a couple more hours of sleep and sufficient time to get to their office and respond.

    Yes, I understand that.

Hence why I included the artisan-vendors of the toppers I own, so as not to sequester any relevant information from Mikilt.
As well, any information which assists in successful over-seas purchases, particularly re: size, seems exactly what the membership, as fraternity, is wont to do.
I don't see anything in any response which precludes MacGregor & MacDuff from responding to Mikilt.

    Hi MiKilt,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thank you everyone for your replies.

We've had a number of U.S customers purchase our ex-hire Lomond Tweed jackets and waistcoats and they have been the same size so we would recommend going with your normal U.S size. For your height I would suggest that you would require a regular sleeve in the Lomond Tweed jacket.

Hope you have a good day!

I spotted those Lomond tweed kilt jackets on Ebay and I'm thinking about getting one. I really like the colour.

    Interesting that the Ebay listing

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Light-Grey-L...item2598305321

only goes up to size 48, while their own site gives bigger sizes. Is size 50 available?

About Scottish jacket sizing, I've found it to be hit-and-miss. For example, for a time I had three Scottish-made Argyll jackets, sized 46L, 48R, and 50R, and all fit me the same. In general I need to get Scottish jackets one size up from 'Saxon' jackets (I usually wear a 48 Saxon jacket, and a 50 kilt jacket).

    Hello OC Richard,

I'm glad you like our Lomond Tweed jackets. The reason we have not listed the larger sizes on our eBay site is because we don't have many of the larger sizes left and so have reserved these for our main site only.

At the moment we have a 50S and a 50R available in the Lomond Tweed. Would the 50R be suitable for you?

    MacGregor and MacDuff
