I carry a European Satchel, aka man bag, murse ect. It goes with me Kilted or not. It's custom made by a leatherworker, who originally made it for me to store/carry a laptop computer and a certain machine tool invented by John Moses Browning, and later adopted by the US Army in 1911.
There is just no way to carry a tablet/laptop, pocket book (Yes a small notebook, not a woman's wallet) pipe and trappings, a multi tool, coffee thermos, spare magazines and all the other gear needed to run me for a day in the pockets or belt!
Having a barren field of, well you know what I mean, is vitally important.........
