Thank you. Didn’t realise I had been referring to the Queen’s Own Hussars It did occur to me that the kilt might have been P&Ds but they were found together and the sporran doesn’t appear to be P&Ds so this added to my confusion...

All ranks of the QOHldrs wore Cameron trews though. Your kilt could just be from the P&D’s. Through all the posts, I can’t figure out which sporran is the one you are trying to id.
