When i've been through here in the past, it seemed like there has always been WAY TOO MUCH of the "if you don't want to wear the kilt my way, you just shouldn't wear it" type of thing going on. That's fine in the Traditional section, even Historical. Although if it was worn back then, like pants are now, one would think they were likely slightly less foppish about these things.
'How could someone *ever* wear a T-shirt out of their house? Let alone with the kilt!''
'A poloshirt? I strip down to a 3 piece suit to go mow the garden or change the oil.'
I don't know, but that Tartan Army sounded way more fun to hang out with than sitting around debating tweed patterns...
In the end it doesn't matter if you'd rather wear a Prince Charlie or a Prince Albert, just put on your kilt and go have a good time!
