    3 : to put into operation

    It basically means I'm trying to sound like a Scot when I address the haggis. Not trying to fool anyone, but having fun, honoring the bard (God rest his immortal soul, so mote it be), and add drama to introducing the haggis to the guests assembled.

    I am sure it will be fine with everyone if you, or whoever does it, can fool at least the haggis....
