The Real Deal
OK, here's the latest and final poop. (That's not an epithet for something nasty; it's supposed to mean the dope, the skinny, the word, the info, . . .) oop:
All who are interested can show up anytime after 4:00 for cocktails and any other mischief you can think of. Officially, cocktail hour is from 5:30 - 6:30 to give us all time for introductions, etc.
I'll be the guy in the kilt.
Price for dinner is $12.50 per head which includes a toast and non-alcoholic drinks. (Water, tea, coffee, etc.) You can feel free to purchase what you like from the bar, and it's well-stocked as a rule. (If Kristen is there, she makes a killer black-and-tan, and she's pretty, too.)
We'll serve soup at 6:30 and pipe in the haggis around 7:00. the festivities will end when we decide they're over, but if you have baby sitters with whom you must be concerned, rest assured we can have most of the formal festivities over by 8:30 for the travelers. Reiving, raids, and mischief will continue as we see fit.
There will be a band or kareoke or something from around 9:00 until closing, so you need not rush off. (See the last paragraph. No mutton slininging inside, please.)
If you plan to spend the evening, the motels are close by. (See previous posts in this thread for info. on that.)
Call the Celtic Tavern to make your reservation (770-785-7001).

I have your PMs, but I'd like for Holly to hear from you so she can make seating plans.

The best way is to take the West Ave. exit from I-20, right on Green St. to the first crossing. Then turn right by the old depot and come around the block to Commercial Street. (Commercial is only about a block long, and it's one-way.) You can park on Commercial if there's a place, if not, just recircle the block and park on the railroad track side. There's a little walk-through alley to get you back.
PM of post if you have any questions.
And don't forget to bring any poems or other stuff you plan to share.
