Well good louck man, the practice chanter is not much fun when you start out but once you start playing the Reels and Jigs and all that fun stuff then it gets a thousand times better!!

One thing that is going to help me is that I've played wind instruments in the past (been several years since HS, but hey it's gotta be worth SOMETHING.) I was a bassoonist (1st chair) and I played clarinet during marching season. So, we'll see how quickly I catch on. I'm excited.
