Importance of waist sizes in Utilikilts

I'd say the mocker and original are a little more forgiving due to the weight of the fabric. The bunching of a too large waist would make me hesitant to buy an over-sized workman or denim.

Hey Bill,

Find a UK waist size you like and hope they are consistant with future purchases. Most of my UKs are waist size 40, but as they got tight and the front got that funny angle I moved up to 41 and 42s...but I can still wear my 40s...so don't think you'll have any problem. Obviously, when I'm fatter the larger sizes are more comfortable.

I've chosen to wash my UKs in cold water only and hang dry so they don't shrink up on me.

Course another solution is to get you a leather UK with the corset lacing, gives you a wide range adjustment to your waist size.
