I think they help wick away from your skin and breathe nicely, both of which are gonna make them more wearable in the warm weather. It's also what you get used to/convince yourself is comfy. I thought I'd die wearing long sleeves and long p@nts my first extended stay @ Death Valley, but found it was much more comfortable (and safer) than shorts. There may come a (warm) day you have to peel them off - just don't forget your sunscreen on that day!
