    Thanks for the lore David. Former residesnts of sixteenth-century Scotland, Sawney Bean and his family were another earlier though equally creepy bunch. These close-knit (to say the least) Galloway cave-dwellers were cannibals as well as robbers.

    I read some place, I think it was Fark.com, that Rob Zombie wanted to make a movie out of this whole bit of folk horror from Kansas.

    That would be a cool movie no doubt... Plenty of "LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!" scenes.
