    Open Box Pleats

I guess if you considered the resulting "garment" had "open box pleats" you maybe kinda sorta could have called it a kilt...

Saw a guy at the Albuquerque Pride 2005 wearing a kilt-like/hula skirt-like outfit. He was wearing a belt and had old neckties hanging from the belt all the way around. Looked like he just looped them over the belt at the midpoint of the ties. He'd color coordinated them so they looked pretty good. The ties being thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom the finished look was sorta kinda kilt-like.

Have to admire the creativity using existing resources.

As for the duct tape...boy...you'd REALLY have to be careful about making sure there are no sticky parts on the inside surface...!

For all of the time, effort, and money it would take to create a duct tape kilt...I'd rather buy/make a kilt with real material.
