    The humor escapes me.

You have various people who need to make a phone call and this piper rudely prevents them from completing this call.

I believe bagpipes at close quarters can actually damage people's hearing (which is why pipers and their bandmates wear ear plugs. So besides being prevented from conducting their business they may have actually been in some pain.

The fellow playing was eventually able to get the victims angry and to leave.

Seems like a pretty small accomplishment.

    Cheers

    humour mode off....

I completely agree with Panache, I really fail to see why this is funny, indeed it probably doesn't do the bagpipes favour..

Here I am agreeing with Jamie and Paul. This just left me cold. The editing of the 'film' was very poorly done indeed.

Had one of the telephone callers punctured the piper's bag in frustration, it might have raised a smile ............ but I doubt it!

Paul has a point: this sort of thing only serves to 'put down' piping in the eyes of the general public.

Jamie, the whole show is rather ...well crap. The gags and reactions seem set up to a tee. The You will notice the only sound is the that of th epipes and the laugh track. There are no voices in any of the skits, and it ends up feeling like you have watched a 2 minute bit performed by mimes. I watched 8 minutes once (yes I timed it) and have never tuned since. The Just for laughs Comedy festival is brilliant, but this is horrid. The only laughs from this show are from the laugh track provided, not from the audience.

"Candid Camera" type shows can be amusing. But too often the scenario is the victim is approached my someone terribly rude and the whole idea is for the rude person to frustrate, anger, or upset the victim. That isn't to me funny.

I believe there was a movie out last summer "Borat" that from all the reviews I read took this premise and stretched it out for an entire movie. Needless to say I didn't see it.

    Cheers
