    Scottish Seagulls

So, this bird walks into a store....

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=Kqy9hxhUxK0

A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop.

The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos.

Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds.

The seagull's shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen, Scotland, and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he's become a regular. He always takes the same type of chips.

Customers have begun paying for the seagull's stolen bags of chips because they think it's so funny.

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

Of course he always takes the same kind -- he recognizes it as a food source, and hasn't abstracted that recognition to other kinds of chips bags.

Only twenty bags in two weeks? Slacker. The one here in Buffalo enters a shop daily, gets up on the counter, grabs his bag, leaves, and did this 72 days in a row before it was considered newsworthy. Seventy-two days of getting in the store (not just darting in and out the door), getting to the counter and back, and avoiding the staff. A local guy was so impressed that he made arrangements with the shop manager - the seagull can grab his daily bag for as long as he wants, and this guy will pay the bill.
