Chicago (formal) Event this Saturday - anyone going?

Hello All - if this should go somewhere else, please feel free to move it! I'll be attending a black tie event in Chicago this Saturday (Oct 6th) at the Drake Hotel - it's a benefit for the Pritzker Military Library, a non-profit organization in Chicago that supports a world-class library and that presents programming related to military history.

Anyone else going? Last year I wore black tie (my father in law's full PC w/vest, which fits as if it were custom-tailored for me!) with a kilt (my own Mackay medium weight) and got many favorable comments (including a few requests to pose for pics with the ladies) and I'll be similarly attired on Saturday. If you're going, let me know, and by all means wear a kilt!

It's the Ancient.
I bought it last year for this event, after almost buying a tux! Having attended the previous few years, I had decided to go beyond 'renting.' - Luckily, just before I bought a tux I bought a kilt instead, and luckily had access to a beautiful PC jacket and vest which fits well, so I picked up a few odds and ends to complete the ensemble and wore that rig instead, and as you all would expect, I had a blast!
