    Dear readers,

Please remember that this is a work of fiction. The moderators are a kind and noble group whose only desire is to make the forum a better place.

Did you ever see a moderator drink a glass of water?

OK Big whoop, so David invented a man-purse that holds stuff and he calls it a sporran. So he invented a Faraday cage years after a bloke named Faraday made one. This is not new, I believe even Panache relies heavily on his to prevent aliens stealing his thoughts. Am I not correct doesn't Jamie wear a coif?

We-he-ell, uh, I'd like to hold off judgement on a thing like that, sir, until all the facts are in.

But, Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous moderator plot we have ever had to face.

With the money we spend each year on whisky and whiskey at the Great Golden Hall I should hope not!

    Scene 17

Media Room, Great Hall of X Marks the Scot

“Globo-Fashion,” Colin replied, “I’ve heard of them. Didn’t they just pop into the fashion community a couple of years ago?”

“Correct,” answered Ms. Stork. “Globo-Fashion was formed two years ago when several small firms in the fashion and supporting industries merged into a single conglomerate. Unlike many large firms, however, their stock is controlled by only a handful of people, the previous owners of the former firms that merged.”

“In the two years of their existence,” she continued, “Globo-Fashion has grown in size to be one of the most influential firms of its kind. It has offices around the world and their shows attract the wealthiest clients. They are currently sponsoring a world tour, showcasing their selection of fashions for next season. The three locations shown on the map are the locations of their last three shows. Based on this information, we are guessing that the next abduction attempt will be near their next tour stop, Boston.”

“Who would they try to kidnap in Boston?” asked Nelson.

“Well, we don’t know for certain that it will be someone in Boston. It could be someone near there. We have gathered the characteristics that the other three victims had in common. They have each been members of the forum for some time and have contributed frequently. They are generally well known to the other members. And finally, they wear kilts nearly full-time. We have searched the Boston area for these characteristics, and we believe we have found their next target.”

“And who might that be?” asked Mike.

“We believe they are going to attempt to kidnap Andrew Breecher. He is a long-time kilt wearer and he has been a member of the forum for years. While he does not contribute as much as some, he is still well known to the other members. Plus, because of his wearing a kilt on long distance hikes, he is bringing awareness of the kilt to others in the general public.”

“What are your plans?” asked Mike.

Ms. Stork gave the floor to Ms. Starling, who got up from her seat. “We will travel to Boston and stake out both Andrew and the fashion show. If they make a move to kidnap him, we will be there to stop them. Hopefully, we will be able to apprehend them and learn of the location of the other three men.”

“Okay,” said Mike, “Thank you. Do what you do best and get our men back.”
