Getting ready to go, as others are already underway. The temp is 1C or 33F. Will try out my new USAKilts braemar and waistcoat with my SWK heavyweight. Got a feeling I'm going to be quite toasty.

Well i have some photos of the evening, a good night was had by all who attended, I came home with kilt number 11, I bought a Utilikilt from Wompet, it fits perfectly, and I think it will get some wear around the house during the winter months I have it on now and am very comfortable in it, thanks Gary. Captain Karrot showed up and it was good to meet you, I hope you enjoy your stay in Toronto. OK so to the photos
Grant with his Guinness

I think he figured out what temperature to drink it at

Dave showed up looking quite dapper for our St. Andrews Day kilt night in his Black Argyll

Dave and Grant

Gary and I

One of the lassies who thought the kilt was just brillant

A couple kilt fans, they just had to find out the answer for themselves, and get photographic proof

Kilted pool, we all need to practice more.

except perhaps David

Wow - you guys dress up, much more that I do, just to go to a bar.
Those jackets make you look like you are ready to go to a wake..... But then, isn't that what drinking in a bar eventually turns into.
I hope you raised a glass to friends present and far away.
Thank for sharing... someday soon when we get the hologram thing working better, we can all get together.

Had a good time last night and was a pleasure meeting Captain Karrot. Somebody has to tell McMurdo though that this is MY hometown and if anyone gets the kilt check it's ME . Although the serving wench dropped a fork on the floor in front of me. It was an innocent accident but I'm counting that one. Don't play pool with Hendry, he's a shark. Do play pool with Glen, it'll pay down your mortgage. Jay we don't tend to dress up for kilt nights, it's just that both Glen and I got new Braemars and we wanted to compare. He in his Hector Russel and me in my USAKilts. Slightly different lines but the same material. Although with the colder weather on it's way I'll be wearing mine quite frequently and hey, I think I look down right dapper. Special nod to Colin for showing that a silver tie can work. Had my first Guinness and it wasn't like swallowing phlegm like I thought, after the third sip it was all right. Looking forward the next gathering under our new president Glen.

Yes Gary did bring the squirrel . I can now see a definate difference between nearly identical seal and bovine dress sporrans.

It was a good night. Sorry I had to leave before 10:00, but work will do that.
Grant, from where I was sitting, it looked like she did the look back over her shoulder ... at Glenn. The women at the next two tables were looking at Glenn. The guy in the yellow ball cap looked at Glenn, and will probably never go back to Emma's again. (Why was their table sitting so low, anyway?)
But if it makes you feel any better, the hot blond waitress did feel your beaver. And I will bear witness to this assemblage that it did happen, despite my lack of pictures.
Glenn, glad that the kilt fits and that you like it.
Dave, good to see you again. And I'm still curious about those epaulettes.
Karrot, sorry I missed meeting you.

Gary, thank you for not mentioning to the rabble that my sporran was on the table when the waitress felt it up. I know I slag you often enough on this forum but I will generally try to be nice to you for keeping my secret
