    November Bay Area Kilt Night

The Night was cold, but so was the Beer! The Devils Canyon Crew proved that there are many uses for their delightful Full Boar Scotch Ale by offering Chocolate Cupcakes made with this delightful brew. My little kilted daughter Xena showed her appreciation of these cupcakes by eating two of them and then becoming a little sugar powered blur of Loud Mcleod tartan and crashing into the staff of the Devil's Canyon Brewery.

A great local cover band, the Jack Aces played a strong set and got the crowd singing and dancing. Well done Fellows! Brewer Dan "the Man" Curran wasn't there, but that didn't stop us from making fun of him.

Sadly O'Neille and Mike1 weren't able to get a working transporter together by Friday so we missed Dee, Rob, and our own Way2Fractious. (O'Neille sent me a PM and said the problem is in the underlying String theory he based the prototype on. Apparently String Theory doesn't incorporate the variance of subatomic cadences and this unpredictability can't be factored in using the sub-routines that Mike1 wrote. O'Neille figures he's going to have to crunch some serious numbers and come up with a more exact unfied theory of everything, either that or he's going to make a targe )

We were delighted that CameronTaylor made the trip up to join the Bay Area Kilted. Nice seeing you again CT! Also in attendence were Alan H., Tim C. and the lovely Damaris, the F-H.C.A.G., Xena and Sinbad, CT's good friend Chris, Captainjak (sadly suffering from a bifurcated condition), Motormanforlife and a friend.

    So here are the pictures

Alan H. and Cameron Taylor. Alan is showing off his very nice self made grey tartan kilt and CT is wearing his amazing X Marks Tartan dress model Freedom Kilt.

Alan H. showing the sturdy kilt work apron he made for Michael Steinrok (Mike we missed you and your lady.)

The mighty Sinbad and Brave (though be-sugared) Xena had fun

(Bottom row) Sinbad, Xena, and Panache

    Lots of fun as usual.

    Cheers,

Looks like a good (sugared and otherwise) time was had by all. I thought perhaps that Mike1 and O'neil had perfected the transporter and forgotten to let the rest of us know.

But since they are absent from the pictures I'll have to assume I was wrong.

    Doh!

    Oh Man......

I completely brain-faded Kilt night this month. Must have been too much turkey or something like that.....!

Looks like you all had fun, maybe someday I will make it there!

Always nice to see M Markers in their digitized flesh. Helps put faces and emotions to the TINY images used as Avatars.

    Looks/sounds like a nice night.

I especially like the Loud MacLeod. I would LOVE a kilt in that tartan one day (officially to honor the Lewis roots of my wife Anna's family, unofficially B/C I love that tartan).

    Enjoy!

Excellent pics and its really good to be able to match names and faces. There seem to be more X-markers living near the Bay Area than there are here in the south of Scotland.
