    To those who have asked, it all to do with the new RRS Dress Regs. "Friday Dress" was something specific to the Black Watch where you wore Trews and chained spats rather than long spats. As a Territorial it wasn't something we wore very often so it won't be getting worn again as its no longer one of the orders of Dress

    Bummer. I've always liked getting to wear the dress uniform and the dressier uniforms. The new uniform probably won't be near as sharp looking as that one. The more the powers that be try to update the uniforms the more generic we tend to get.
