That's great. I'm sure the Black Watch will be worn with as much pride as anything else.

Don't ask me "Gryphon, why do you kilt?"....it's a family tradition.

My older son started wearing his kilt to high school in Illinois when he was 15. That's what inspired me and his uncle to start.

Sort of like generation reversal. My younger son (12) just isn't there yet.

My younger daughter wanted a kilt so badly. I finally bought her a USAK mini-kilt, with great results as you can see here.

Kelly did a great job. You should have heard Haley scream when I showed it to her. She got to wear it to the party, then had to give it back for opening on xmas. Pure torture!

    Nice looking kilts and skirts!!

Maybe your son has the son's glare in his eyes, but he doesn't look too happy to be in the picture. "Aw, Dad!!!" ??

My son continued to make fun of me wearing my kilt until I started wearing it out in public. Now he begs to have one of his own. Little does he know that it's under the tree along with a new sporran. My first kilted Christmas and passing along a new family tradition. Pictures will be forthcoming.

I think my brother and I started the kilt wearing tradition in our family, I think we're the only ones that wear them....
